Why do kids get to have all the fun?! Adult nights are back! Join us for Leo's After Dark: The Science of Cocktails on Friday, April 26th from 7pm to 10pm! Come play, explore, and help us fund scholarships for Leonardo's camps and programs! Included with your ticket will be three craft cocktails, each with a scientific twist! Beginning Saturday, April 6 and continuing the following three Saturdays, a tutorial titled “Model Railroading 101: Understanding and Beginning Model Railroading” will be conducted by Dan Harris at the Railroad Museum of Oklahoma, 702 N. Washington in Enid. Each two-hour session begins at 10:00 a.m. and will cover the following subjects: April 6 – Model railroading history and layout planning; April 13 – Benchwork and trackwork; April 20 – Electrical and motive power/rolling stock; and April 27 – Bridges and structures/scenery. Step back in time and experience life on the Cherokee Strip during History Alive! in the Humphrey Heritage Village. On the first and third Saturday of each month, the historic buildings in the Village come alive with reenactors who are tending their shops, working their trades, or socializing at the Village Church. Visitors can learn about different skills and trades of the time, or file their own land claim in the Land Office. The Village will be Alive! from 11 am to 3 pm on the first and third Saturday of the month.
Every 2nd and 4th Saturday during the school year we invite Leonardo's guests to make science with us! There are two sessions, one at 11 am and one at 3 pm. Weekend Wonders is free with regular admission or with a Leonardo's membership. Supplies are limited and first come first serve. Weekend Wonders is generously sponsored by Park Avenue Thrift
