This Privacy Statement states how we, Enid Convention & Visitors Bureau (dba Visit Enid) herein referred to as “we,” collect, use, share and store information about individuals (“you”) and your interactions with the website, www.Visit Enid.org (“website”).
We collect information directly from you when you send us email or photography, complete a form on the website and electronically when you browse our website. This includes requesting literature and when you sign up to receive email from us.
The two types of information we collect are both anonymous and personal. Anonymous information is information that cannot be used to identify you individually and this is collected automatically. Personal information is information that can be used to identify you individually, such as your name, address, email address, or phone number. INFORMATION YOU PROVIDE DIRECTLY
You provide your contact information (your name, mailing address, email address, and phone number) when you request a visitor guide, sign up for electronic communications, enter a sweepstakes or in other promotional activities. To assist us in understanding your interests more thoroughly, we may also ask for demographic information such as age group or information about your travel interests. By law we must ask prize winners for their social security numbers so that we can report their winnings to the IRS. When you share photos with us, we may obtain a credit line to acknowledge who owns the photo, to caption when and where the photo was taken.
We may use the information you provide to reply to your requests, to update and improve the content on our website or in our electronic communications, and to assist with marketing research. We use photos you share with us to promote vacations to Enid and the surrounding region.
