Named Oklahoma’s 2026 Outstanding Agritourism Attraction
Enjoy this segment on Red Bird Farm as it aired on Discover Oklahoma in November, 2020.
Since opening as a Christmas tree farm in 2018, Red Bird Farm has grown into one of Oklahoma’s most popular agritourism destinations. Located just north of Enid, Red Bird Farm combines authentic agricultural experiences with family-friendly entertainment, educational programming, and seasonal festivals that draw visitors from across Oklahoma and neighboring Kansas.
Through continuous investment in attractions, farm programming, and marketing, Red Bird Farm has become a vibrant tourism destination that connects visitors with agriculture while contributing to the regional economy. Over the past several years, the farm has expanded its visitor experiences, added major attractions, and developed seasonal events that encourage repeat visitation and regional travel.
Owners Kent & Becky Evatt have invested in numerous improvements that enhance the visitor experience, which has increased its appeal as a tourist destination. Recent additions include a giant slide, jumping pillow, bubble barn, expanded corn pit, an elevated goat playpen, playground equipment. They have also added a permanent food truck, selling concessions like caramel apples, donuts, slushies and hot cocoa.
Additions to their petting zoo include miniature horses, miniature donkeys and a miniature cow, joining the chickens, guineas, rabbits and pigs. They now offer hayrides around the farm, a pumpkin patch and a seasonal corn maze. In 2025, Red Bird Farm started its own Farmers Market and expanded its U-pick Blackberry program and Mother’s Day Flower Bar. Autumn brings Fall on the Farm, and Harvest Market, billed as the perfect kickoff to your fall season. Plus, they still offer U-Cut Christmas trees, selling between 500 and 600 trees during the 2025 holiday season.
Red Bird Farm has become an important agritourism destination in Oklahoma. The Evatt’s have blended education, entertainment and seasonal programming into authentic agricultural experiences, attracting visitors who might not otherwise travel to Enid or step foot onto a farm. It’s a great example of how a working farm showcases Oklahoma’s rural heritage by evolving into one of Enid’s most dynamic tourism attractions.
