Frozen in Time: a Photographic History of Northwestern Oklahoma is a special exhibit that focuses of a selection of photographs from northwestern Oklahoma, both past and present. This locally-created temporary exhibit covers the Cherokee Strip Land Run of 1893 through the 1930s, and then jumps to modern-era images of northwest Oklahoma. On the first and third Saturday of each month, the historic buildings in the Village come alive with reenactors who are tending their shops, working their trades, or socializing at the Village Church. Visitors can learn about different skills and trades of the time, or file their own land claim in the Land Office. The Village will be Alive! from 11 am to 3 pm on the first and third Saturday of the month.
