Simpson’s Old Time Museum plays host to many events. Any person or organization may rent the museum for any non-alcoholic event.

Since 2006, the museum has been the location for thousands of events. Baby showers, family reunions, birthday parties for the young and old, anniversaries, political fund raisers, concerts, ice-cream socials, wedding rehearsals, wedding receptions and dozens of weddings have taken place in the museum.

While most of the festivities take place on Main Street and in the Saloon, event guests are always free to roam through the rest of the museum.

The movie sets are also a great place for still photography. Christmas photos, senior pictures and wedding portraits and still photography of all sorts have taken place in the museum.

Come see where westerns are made! Visit Simpson’s Old Time Museum and Skeleton Creek Productions Movie Studio and step back into the old west. Listen to honky-tonk piano music and sip an ice-cold sarsaparilla in the 1880’s saloon. If you get too rowdy you might get taken to the marshal’s office and thrown in an 1880’s jail. Visit the 1880’s hotel lobby complete with stairway and see the hotel hallway and authentic hotel room. Come witness how the cowboys lived in a real link shack, shop in the General Store, or have a quiet moment in the1880’s church. All are full-sized movie sets used in Skeleton Creek’s action-packed family westerns. The museum also houses a private doll collection numbering more than 1,800.
