Heroes of the Heartland are portraits of 10 fallen soldiers from this region. Each portrait was painted by artist Tox Murillo, and the exhibit was dedicated on Veterans Day, November 11, 2022.
Exhibit can be seen at the American Military History Museum at Oakwood Mall, open Thursday-Saturday 10 am-4 pm. It was partially funded by a grant from the Pubic Arts Commission of Enid (PACE).
