    The Cherokee Strip Regional Heritage Center debuts a new exhibit, “Art of the Wish,” on Wednesday, January 28. The exhibit highlights a national project launched in 2017 when artists Marn Jensen and Andy Newcom spent six months traveling the country. They asked adults ages 80 to 100-plus a single question: “If you had a wish for the world, what would it be?” The artists visited senior communities, hospice care facilities and caregivers to get a diverse range of backgrounds, beliefs and life experiences.     Step back in time and experience life on the Cherokee Strip during History Alive! in the Humphrey Heritage Village. On the first and third Saturday of each month, the historic buildings in the Village come alive with reenactors who are tending their shops, working their trades, or socializing at the Village Church. Visitors can learn about different skills and trades of the time, or file their own land claim in the Land Office. The Village will be Alive! from 11 am to 3 pm on the first and third Saturday of the month.
