Beginning Saturday, April 6 and continuing the following three Saturdays, a tutorial titled “Model Railroading 101: Understanding and Beginning Model Railroading” will be conducted by Dan Harris at the Railroad Museum of Oklahoma, 702 N. Washington in Enid. Each two-hour session begins at 10:00 a.m. and will cover the following subjects: April 6 – Model railroading history and layout planning; April 13 – Benchwork and trackwork; April 20 – Electrical and motive power/rolling stock; and April 27 – Bridges and structures/scenery. The clinic is suitable for persons ages 14 and over at any skill level. Admission to the museum is required at $6.00 per person per session. Please RSVP by calling the museum at 580-233-3051 during normal hours of operation (Tuesdays through Fridays from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. and Saturdays from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.), no later than Wednesday, April 3 by 4:00 p.m. to let us know which sessions you will be attending.
