Memorial Day Ceremony, Monday, May 25, 2026 Honor & Remember will begin at 10 am at the city of Enid airport hangar, west of the Woodring Wall of Honor and Veterans Park and its M.L. Becker Educational Center at Enid Woodring Regional Airport.

The ceremony began with the Wall of Honor in 2000 to commemorate fallen soldiers from Garfield County, and it has since expanded to include those from across the state.

Enid’s Memorial Day Ceremony will honor fallen heroes this year. The Kiowa Black Leggins Honor Society will return to present flags. The keynote speaker is Col. Carl Miller, USAF Deputy Commander at Vance Air Force Base. Michael Weatherford, USAF, will perform the National Anthem. Blue Star Mother, Brenda Bingham, will conduct a Blue to Gold ceremony. Michael Lapolla will perform a special Hall of Honor presentation. State representative John Pfieffer will dedicate the living wall additions. Legislative member, Senator Roland Pederson will present citations and District 59 Representative Mike Dobrinski will be the emcee. Mayor David Mason will welcome the crowd to the ceremony. Taps will be performed by Johnny Greer. Services begin at 10 am.
