Event Series: History Alive!

SPECIAL EVENT! TODAY ONLY

Beginning at 11:30am, visitors will have the opportunity to participate in a make-and-take carpentry activity! Participants will receive instructions and supplies to make their very own small bench, just like the ones you see sitting around the Humphrey Heritage Village. When finished, the bench is yours to keep! Supplies are limited, so this activity is on a first-come, first-serve basis! The workshop is included in the regular museum admission at no extra cost. Join us and build fun memories at the Cherokee Strip Regional Heritage Center!

Zoetrope Old Time & Celtic Museum will also join us and be playing music of the late 19th and early 20th century.

Step back in time and experience life on the Cherokee Strip during History Alive! in the Humphrey Heritage Village. On the first and third Saturday of each month, the historic buildings in the Village come alive with reenactors who are tending their shops, working their trades, or socializing at the Village Church. Visitors can learn about different skills and trades of the time, or file their own land claim in the Land Office. The Village will be Alive! from 11 am to 3 pm on the first and third Saturday of the month.
