On Friday, May 23rd, at David Allen Memorial Ballpark, Woodring Wall of Honor and the City of Enid will play host to the Flame of Remembrance Ceremony as part of the opening of the NJCAA Division II World Series.

Medal of Honor recipient Harold Kiner’s nephew will light a flame that will be carried around the bases by veterans from WWII, Korea, Vietnam, and active-duty Armed Forces. At home plate, CMSgt Harvey McReynolds will meet a 102 year old WWII POW to lift the flame in honor of all veterans. RD Lawrence recently received the Oklahoma Cross of Valor for his service to our country. A Blue Star Mother will extinguish the flame.
