Hope Outreach has upgraded from simply a thrift store to a marketplace. We realize there is a desperate need for the thrift side and we will always have it. But we also realize there are a lot of people who are looking for new furniture, flooring, dressers, rugs and such who are still looking for bargains. Once again we can meet that need. Enid's newest brewery sits right on the old Chisholm Trail, hence the name Settlers. This family-run brewery offers hand-crafted beers of all variety and supports local non-profit organizations. Not your typical park. One of Enid's first parks established in 1911 is where the Oklahoma Land Run and Chisholm Trail meet! Interpretive public art at Dillingham Gardens tell the tale of the Land Run at this historic Chisholm Trail watering hole. And who expects a waterfall on the prairie? Facilities include (5) park shelters, restrooms, walking trail and fishing docks. This park is equipped with one large pavilion that can be rented for weddings, concerts and other festivities. Government Springs Park also has plenty of play toys for the children.
Adults can play pickup roller hockey on Thursday nights while the entire family can skate Thursday through Sunday on the large wood floor. Home to the Enid Roller Girls roller derby team.
Come see where westerns are made! Visit Simpson's Old Time Museum and Skeleton Creek Productions Movie Studio and step back into the old west. Listen to honky-tonk piano music and sip an ice cold sarsaparilla in the 1880's saloon. If you get too rowdy you might get taken to the marshal?s office and thrown in an 1880's jail. Visit the 1880's hotel lobby complete with stairway and see the hotel hallway and authentic hotel room. For bowling, Oakwood Bowl has 40 lanes, all equipped with automated bumpers so family members of all ages can enjoy this fun sport. Special activities include Moonlight Madness Friday and Saturday nights and Dollarmania Tuesday and Thursday evenings.
